Cellulose Nitrate Sheet

Mortar flammable container
For mortar propellant container boxes, our company produces combustible ammunition containers (CCC) made of nitrocellulose based nitrocellulose film. These containers are produced through the salivation additive process. CCC technology can also provide excellent mechanical strength in low-temperature environments. Due to its high content of 80% nitrocellulose, it has excellent flammability. Non pressure cloth process
◉ The non pressure cloth process directly processes soft film, with a shorter process, but requires separate treatment of fiber stability. ◉ Non pressure cloth products retain high flammability and require stabilization treatment (such as soaking in potassium nitrate) to enhance safety. ◉ Non pressure cloth is more common in disposable products (wet wipes, cotton pads), with a focus on lightweight. ◉ Non pressure cloth is more prone to rapid degradation (within 90 days), but storage should be kept away from light and at low temperatures to prevent self ignition.

Pressing Process
◉ The pressing process requires composite base fabric (such as cotton/synthetic fiber), complex processes such as acid mixing and nitration reaction, strict temperature control and nitrogen content (<12.5%). ◉ Pressed fabric products have strong tear resistance but reduced flexibility, making them suitable for high-strength scenarios such as medical packaging. ◉ Pressure cloth is used in fields with high durability requirements, such as medical dressings and industrial filters. ◉ The compression process degrades slowly, but the synthetic base fabric can enhance chemical resistance.
